Replacing the USB Port in a PS4 Controller

A damaged USB port can stop a perfectly good PS4 controller from charging or connecting properly.

For this refurbishment, the faulty USB port is carefully removed and replaced with a brand new one. Once the new port is soldered into place, the controller is fully tested to make sure it charges and connects correctly.

Replacing the joysticks on this Xbox 360 Controller.

Sometimes the refurbishing process can be quite simple. This Xbox 360 Controller passed our testing process with no issues and only needed a fresh set of joysticks.

Once the new joysticks are attached and everything is tested, the controller gets a deep clean to bring it back to its best condition, then ready to go into stock.

Making this PSP 3000 look and feel brand new with a front faceplate swap.

Our Baxtros technician carefully disassembles the PSP 3000, removing the original casing and carefully taking out all the buttons and components from the front.

Each button is then cleaned, checked and carefully fitted onto the new front faceplate before everything is reassembled.

Refurbishing a PS2 Controller! 🎮

After diagnosis, we found that this PS2 Controller needed a brand new analogue stick.

The Baxtros technician first has to desolder and remove the damaged original analogue stick from the controller. Once removed, the new analogue stick can be carefully soldered into place.

With the refurbishment complete, the controller is thoroughly tested to make sure everything is working as it should.

Everything starts with diagnosing the issue. We need to identify exactly what is wrong with the console or controller before any work can begin.

Once the issue has been identified, our technician can get to work and repair the product.

With the repair complete, it’s time for thorough testing to make sure everything is working exactly as it should.

Once testing is finished, the product receives a deep clean, making sure it looks and feels its best for its new owner.

Finally, the refurbishment is complete!

The product is now ready to join the rest of our stock in the warehouse and find its new home.
