This mesh dress is pure joy in an outfit. Length wise it’s designed to be the perfect companion piece to the denim pinafore dress (worn underneath here!) but you can layer it over cycle shorts and a sports bra… a bodysuit… jeans and a T-shirt… whatever suits your mood!

🚨 new size guide 🚨

As part of my relaunch I have completely regraded (no, that wasn’t stressful at all 🫠) and launched a brand new size guide.

I wanted to keep my sizing as inclusive as possible while offering a smaller number of different sizes so that I can work towards manufacturing and offering ready made products at markets and pop ups. As most of my products are designed to be oversized and fit flexibly, each size is able to cover a slightly wider band than many brands.

So here’s the new size guide! The main size guide covers all my made to order pieces, and there’s a separate one for the fleeces and T-shirts as these are stretchy and cover an even wider size range.

I hope this size guide works for as many people as possible while also enabling me to grow my business onto a more sustainable footing 💕

The Good Vibes Are Free Denim Pinafore Dress! What’s so special about it you ask? Well, it’s only a totally elevated and upgraded version of the traditional dungaree/pinafore look that works for everyone INCLUDING those of us with big b***s 🤩

Yes, if like me you’re a member of the 🍉 club, you may have wanted to wear a cute dungaree look but found the front panel shifts around and ends up with your b***s popping out of the side in a very unruly way. I designed this piece for myself to solve that problem - it’s higher at the front and back without a low side so that you get a full coverage look with a pinafore feel.

But that’s not all! Thanks to this design, you can also wear it without a top underneath, AND because of the gorgeous simplicity of the design, it looks good on everyone!

I think that’s one of the most amazing things about inclusive design - you start by designing to fit one body outside fast fashion’s mainstream, and you end up designing a piece that works for all bodies!

Other super cute features include functional back pockets big enough for your phone, cute white topstitching, and a centre back invisible zip to make it easier to get on and off, as well as curved French darts to add subtle shaping.

Off to my first party of the Christmas season tonight! I couldn’t photograph my outfit due to the horrible weather so just enjoy these photos from when I still had long hair! The Vanbrugh is a perfect party dress for when you’re not sure how fancy the vibe is going to be because it hits that middle ground between daywear and evening weather. And my platform DMs are comfy enough for dancing too!
