A simple classic bistro table with incredible provenance, from the Paris apartment of Frances Stein an American, who worked with Halston and Calvin Klein then Chanel as chief accessory designer.
Stein’s designs from the Chanel ballet flats, gold chain bags, cashmere twinsets and everything you think of that is Chanel — became iconic classics which made Karl Lagerfeld so jealous that he started his own accessories studio within Chanel but still her designs outperformed his.
