🚨 WE’VE BEEN UP TO SOMETHING… 🚨

Okay, we’ve been a little quiet on here lately. Holidays got in the way, the workshop has been absolutely flat out, and, well… sometimes fixing bikes wins over posting about bikes. 😎🔧

But behind the scenes, we’ve been working with Shimano and we’re pretty stoked to announce that OneSixSix Velo is becoming a Shimano Service Centre. 🔥

What does that mean?

It means we’re investing even more into the technical knowledge, equipment and service standards needed to properly work on Shimano-equipped bikes — from the latest tech and electronic systems through to the stuff that keeps your bike running sweet.

BUT… before anyone starts worrying…

🚲 Shimano, SRAM, Campagnolo, or whatever you’ve got bolted to your bike — we’ve got you.

We’re still the same workshop for all bikes, all brands and all riders. ❤️

Over the next few months, you’ll see some small changes happening around the workshop as we continue to level things up.

So… watch this space. 👀

Daniel has just joined up with his brand-new Genesis CDA 20 — and if there’s one bike built to go anywhere, this is it!

🚲 Austin’s school-run upgrade! ⚡️

Austin emailed us looking for an e-bike for the start of the school term — something practical for getting the little one to school, but also compact enough to fit comfortably inside those BikeNest storage boxes.

We invited Austin in on Saturday, fitted a 2-step removable child seat, and took him out for a test ride.

Needless to say… he was sold! 😎

🚲 New Bike Day for Alan! 🙌

Sometimes all it takes is popping in for a chat...

Alan wandered into OneSixSix Velo after realising there was a bike shop right on his doorstep. A friendly conversation turned into a test ride, and before he knew it, he was heading home with one of Merida’s fantastic Speeder 60s! 🤩
