Good friends, good company and plenty of shared moments made a lovely occasion across our Gold Care Homes 💜

Whether it was chatting over afternoon tea, making friendship bracelets, enjoying ice lollies in the garden or simply spending quality time together, our wonderful residents embraced the day and everything it celebrates.

Our wonderful residents, families and team at Broxbourne Nursing Home recently came together to celebrate the home's 4th anniversary with a fantastic day of food, music and wonderful company. 😊

The home was also pleased to welcome the Mayor of Broxbourne, Councillor Patsy Spears, along with Councillor George Nicolaou, who helped make the occasion even more special.💜

July saw us celebrating a few of our favourite dates in the calendar, alongside all the everyday moments that make each month special 💜

We marked World Chocolate Day with a few well deserved treats, celebrated National Ice Cream Day with everyone's favourite flavours, and during , we took the opportunity to recognise our wonderful teams who make such a difference every day 🍦🍫

Alongside the celebrations, there were all the little moments that make each month what it is, catching up with friends, enjoying favourite activities and making the most of the summer days.

John celebrated his special day surrounded by his family, our lovely residents and our wonderful team, with a beautiful birthday cake made by our talented chef, adding to the celebrations.

There’s nothing quite like an ice cream on a sunny day, and our wonderful residents across Gold Care Homes certainly enjoyed celebrating National Ice Cream Day! 🍦💜

Our residents enjoyed choosing their favourite ice creams, enjoying sweet treats and spending time together with friends, families and our teams, making it a lovely way to celebrate this sweet occasion.

While England's FIFA World Cup journey may have come to an end sooner than we had all hoped, it has been a real pleasure watching the team give it everything for the country. Across our Gold Care Homes , our wonderful residents have been right behind the Three Lions every step of the way ⚽💜

Over the past few weeks, we have loved seeing our homes embrace the football spirit and bring everyone together with themed games, match day celebration parties, football quizzes and lots of friendly competition.

A big well done to all of our fantastic teams including Acton Care Centre , St Stephen's Care Home , Martins House , Drayton Village Care Centre and Broxbourne Nursing Home for making the World Cup so much fun for our residents. Here are just a few of our favourite moments from the tournament...

A lovely afternoon at Hillside Nursing Home that we couldn't resist sharing 💜

Our wonderful residents enjoyed a Summer Fun Party in the garden with live music, singing and time to relax together in the sunshine. We are always proud to share the amazing moments happening across our homes ☀️

They say chocolate makes everything better, and judging by the celebrations from World Chocolate Day across our , we'd have to agree! 🍫💜

From baking homemade chocolate biscuits and enjoying chocolate fondue to tasting favourite chocolate bars, watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, reminiscing over vintage sweet wrappers and indulging in delicious chocolate treats, our wonderful residents certainly made the most of the day!

A big well done to our all of our fantastic teams, with a special mention for Brackenbridge House , Lucton House Care Home , Kingfisher House Care Home , The Triangle Care Home , Queensway House Care Home , Acton Care Centre , Drayton Village Care Centre and Hungerford Care Home for making the day so special.
