Awaiting Boris’ announcement on Monday like ....🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼! Really hoping bars and restaurants can open in the near future! 🧡

We will be at the front of the line for some cocktails like this 👆🏼 from

They have a long menu of exciting and quirky flavours of espresso martinis. Here we have the Irish creme (left) and the salted caramel (right) - both were delicious, although the salted caramel probably edged it for me. This pop up really accelerated our love for espresso martinis 🤤 and we would definitely recommend any EM lovers out there go and check them out when you can 🍸☕️

But, in the mean time, we have the next best thing, with our range of higher quality pre-made cocktails. Including the espresso martini - check out our website (link on bio)

Happy pancake day!! 🥞

We will definitely be indulging in some pancakes today, but why stop there? Here we have a cocktail recipe to try that incorporates the ingredients and flavours of pancakes - a maple syrup whiskey sour 🥃 This is how to make one serving:

50ml of bourbon
25ml lemon juice
25ml maple syrup
Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
1 egg white

Shake all the ingredients, except the egg whites, in a cocktail shaker with ice. Then add the egg whites and shake everything for a second time. Once the shaker is getting too cold to hold, strain and serve. If you want to make it vegan swap out the egg whites with chickpea water! 🌱

This is the perfect cocktail for pancake day. We especially love the smooth, frothy finish that is signature to a sours. 😍🤤

Have a go and let us know what you think! Or if you’re drinking something else tonight, we would love to hear your suggestions.

Spice up your Valentines weekend with this chilli chocolate martini 🌶🍫❤️

Firstly you need to make chilli infused vodka, which is really easy. You just cut up a couple of chillis and leave them in a bottle of vodka of your choice for 3-5 hours, then strain the chillis out. Or alternatively you can purchase ready made chilli vodka.

This makes one serving:

50ml chilli infused vodka
25ml white creme de cacao (if you don’t have this you can use kahlua)
25ml chocolate sauce
A small dash of ground cinnamon

Shake all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and then strain to serve. 😍🌶🍫🍸

This is bound to bring the heat 🔥 try it and let us know what you think!!

What is the most important ingredient in a cocktail ..... the alcohol of course!

Cocktails shouldn’t be a way of masking the flavour of alcohol with copious amounts of fruit juices or milkshakes. You should be able to taste the alcohol, and the flavours around should blend well and balance perfectly.

Of course that means you need to start with nice tasting alcohol, and we have been testing different brands over lockdown. Particularly with one of our favourite cocktails to make - the old fashioned. 🥃

Here we’ve used Rare Breed bourbon, and it was delicious. It is very smooth and quite mellow with hints of orange, which works perfectly with the burnt orange peel in the old fashioned. We would definitely recommend 😍

I’m sure you will all agree with us when we say, we are really missing bars and pubs right now. We really miss trying new cocktails and getting inspo. So we have decided to look back on some of the amazing cocktails we have had back in the time pre COVID

This one is from the St Pancras Renaissance hotel in London. It is exactly what I fancy after coming in from a snowy walk as it is the perfect winter warmer ❄️

It was called butterscotch brew and had a delicious sweet caramel flavour, but the warmth of the alcohol still came through and wasn’t over powered - which is so important! 🥃

Let us know what bars you’re currently missing!

Sugar! 🍯There is a plethora of thick, sweet, sticky sugar syrups out there, all with a different and unique flavours. From honey, to maple syrup to agave, each type will bring something different to your cocktail and will complement different spirits. 🥃

One thing we have found is that buying syrups from the supermarket can be expensive - especially if you make the number of cocktails we do. 🤷🏼‍♀️So here is a quick, easy method of making a relatively versatile syrup:

500g soft brown sugar
250ml of boiling hot water (straight for the kettle)

Simply pour the boiling water over the sugar and stir until dissolved, you must you soft brown sugar as it dissolves better. If you want to make more or less it is easy, just keep to the ratio of 2:1 sugar to water.

No pans, no thermometers ... just a simple, cost effective way of making syrup that can be used to make delicious cocktails! 🙌🏼

The 1920s is a decade synonymous with cocktails, with drinks like the highball, French 75, and the sidecar soaring in popularity. One things is for certain that during this time they did not hold back on the alcohol! 🤯

As we are currently in a new 20s decade it feels like an excellent time to bring back some slang from the prohibition era.

Giggle water - as you can probably guess means alcohol probably for obvious reasons 😂🤣

So tell us what giggle water will you be imbibing this weekend!? 🍸
