After a 4-year wait, Bandai has revealed the next MGEX kit: Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam from SEED FREEDOM. Only the third kit MGEX has ever had — Unicorn Ver.Ka went all-in on LED lighting, Strike Freedom went all-in on metallic finishing... we don't know MSF's "extreme" gimmick yet, but the Proud Defender wing rebuild alone looks incredible.

Landing March 2027.

Here's my honest reaction though — I can't help feeling a little short-changed. SEED already has an entry in this line. With how deep the Gundam roster runs, I'd have loved to see this go to Zeta Gundam instead — that transformation gimmick at MGEX scale would be unreal, and Zeta's had nowhere near enough love.

Am I alone on this, or did anyone else want something different?

A nipper that cuts clean instead of crushing the plastic. A metal file to knock the nub down. Sanding sticks to blend it flat. And tweezers, because you will drop a 3mm part and it will find the one gap in the floorboards. All from a top brand that even seasoned hobbyist use.
