I have worked in the fashion industry for 15 years and am happiest stitching, exploring the world, & perusing antiques markets. I sell digital downloads of patterns I've designed and also kits including fabric and threads so you don't have to waste time getting all the ingredients together. I have messed up this project like a lot a lot. I messed up the back so I restarted on the front and then I messed that up too. But does it matter? NO! Learning is fluid and mistakes can be corrected, never (hopefully) to be made again. I’m currently making the Remember Tank from which I think is the perfect project for me right now as a big part of my mind at the moment is remembering a few loved ones I have recently lost. Funny how sometimes the right project picks you even though you think it’s the other way around 🤍

Did you know you can make your own necklace at ‘s jewellery school based at their Bermondsey workshop? I have a new appreciation for the craftsmanship and labour involved in making these pieces, plus there’s an element of danger I appreciate- open fire, hot lasers and flame torches- very cool. My necklace is inspired by my core Canadian childhood memory of hatching salmon eggs in a tank in the classroom and releasing the babies in the local stream. Good times all around 🐟💍

Will you come with me to my cottage? My fleece is here! This was such a fun project and just in time to wear while supporting in the ! Special shout out to the visual merchandiser who just handed me a fist full of red ribbon leftover from the Christmas display when they didn’t have any in stock for me to buy. It was perfect 😊
