Marulin

Marulin Welcome to Marulin! We are a fourth-generation tea producer. Specialists in oolong tea from Taiwan The idea behind Marulin started four generations ago. J.L.

Back in 1944, Mr. Lin inherited pineapple and tea farms in the village of Chuwei in Nantou County, Taiwan from his father. During World War II, Mr. Lin traded pineapples and tea with the Japanese using a chop with the symbol of Marulin. In 2014, Mr. Lin’s granddaughter, dr. lin, decided to share the wonders of tea with the rest of the world and started Marulin Tea in Europe. Today, we have evolved to Marulin where the love of tea goes beyond our farms and beyond your cup.

Working teapots, just micro-sized. Made from Taiwanese clay, lid opens and closes, and yes - you can actually brew tea in them. Tiny amounts, so patience (and non-thirsty friends) required. A lovely little gift or conversation piece for the tea-lover in your life.

A holiday in a bowl 🏖☀️
Sharp, tangy, a little bit lime, a little bit grapefruit - swap ordinary zest for something with a passport. Stir it into your favourite ice cream recipe, whisk it into a cheesecake batter, fold it through a meringue, or shake it into a yuzu spritz for something a bit more grown-up.

From our farms and friends 🍨

Two wins, two very different teas. 🏆

Our Rare 25-Year Puer Aged in Bamboo Stick just picked up a 2-star Great Taste Award - handmade, aged in China then Taiwan for 25 years, with a final stretch here in the UK. An exceptionally special tea.

Alongside it, our Tie Guan Yin Tea Powder took home a 1-star. Finely milled roasted oolong from our farming friends in Taiwan - nutty, caramel, and works exactly like matcha in a latte or a bake.

Two Great Taste Awards, two ways to taste Taiwan. Link in bio. 🍵

The only thing helping in this heat 🧊🫖
No added colourant, no added sugar - just tea (+ vanilla) from Nan, Thailand, developed exclusively with Singha for Marulin.
