Dar Al Taqwa is a London publishing house, established in 1985 specializing in work on the teachings and practice of Islam, by recognized Muslim Scholars. We offer a number of services targeting mainly English and Arabic speakers in the UK and world wide. We supply books all over the world primarily to our distibutors and other booksellers. With their help our company is recognised for the high standard quality of books as well as its authenticity.

While Noora is now the owner of Dar al Taqwa, her journey with the bookshop began long before that. For many years, she has carefully sourced extraordinary books, guided our collections, and helped shape the unique character that makes this space so special.

Every shelf tells a story, and behind many of those stories is Noora’s dedication to connecting readers with books that inspire, educate, and endure.

We’re delighted to launch a new space for readers, thinkers, and seekers to come together around meaningful books and thoughtful conversation.

For our first read, we’ll be exploring Commentary on the Eleventh Contentions by Abdal Hakim Murad, a work that reflects on faith, modernity, culture, and the challenges of contemporary life through an Islamic lens.

Whether you’re a seasoned reader or simply curious to join the discussion, you’re warmly welcome.
