Pretty cocky to have “worlds #1 sandwiches”. Here I am at Sam LaGrassa in the heart of Boston on a 30 degree day. First off they have 10 different pastrami sandwiches on the menu…. This is confusing and a bit over the top. I went with the chipotle pastrami which seemed like the most traditional one they offer. Comes on Italian sesame roll. First red flag… a Jewish sandwich on an Italian roll. Guy fieri tried this place so that’s why I am here. Pastrami on a roll is a huge red flag for me and the sandwhich is $28.. that is more than Katz deli. Another cocky move… having a sandwich more expensive than the Mona Lisa of sandwiches. This is a very busy sandwich. Hot take, but they are trying to make this a $30 sandwich by putting so much random stuff in it. Not traditional. also taylor swift love song in the background isn’t helping the vibe. The pastrami is great and tender… let me be the star of the show. 8.2/10
