To celebrate the publication of The Writer, the November collective will be holding a launch at Burley Fisher Books () on Friday 29 May, 6.30pm. Come along, hear readings, raise a glass with us and purchase a copy of this exciting new collection.
I have retired to write my masterpiece. I am a great writer. No one knows it yet, because I haven’t written anything…’ and so begins Ágota Kristóf’s wry short fiction about that most familiar of issues to every aspiring author: the issue of struggling to write.
Using Kristóf’s work as inspiration, the November Collective present, The Writer, a daringly eclectic and experimental anthology spanning the breadth of feelings and failures, fantasies and furtive images surrounding the idea and process of writing.
