An unusual and delightful walk in Oxford area last Sunday. Guided by a former actress and TV presenter, we walked along the waterways to then spend some leisurely time in a walled garden which belongs to a farm and produces its own delicious strawberry ice cream (soo creamy!) and a pub with a lot of countryside character called The Perch. Both of these were a complete surprise, as we were only set for a walk not expecting anything as spectacular..! The walled garden didn't look like you were anywhere in the UK but more like inside a tropical oasis with its banana tree and vibrant exotic colours. I also discovered Montesuma's chocolate shop in Central Oxford!

75% dark chocolate with coffee and topped by 44% white coconut milk chocolate 😋

This is a very tasty combination which makes desert out of these chocolates. Not only they have a nice and complimentary contrast of flavours between the dark coffeeinated chocolate and the very creamy coconut, they also have contrasted textures. The softer fudge-like texture of the white coconut milk chocolate sits on the bed of solid dark chocolate.

It is like the old one, but with finer cut mango slices. Not for the look's sake though, but for a more refined degustation experience 😉🥭🌶️

So these are off to France, where the weather promises +37C over the next couple of weeks.... How well will they survive, I wonder? Packed in a large box with a lot of insulation, I am hoping for the best🤞🏻... otherwise the customer will have to have it as hot chocolate ☕🤷🏼

I couldn't help buying this sauce to see how mango and chilli taste outside the chocolate!
Mmm.... very spicy!🌶️🌶️🌶️ Much spicier than the combination I put in my chocolate 😉

Mango chopped in small pieces for a more refined degustation experience sprinkled with chilli.
Imagine a warming kick of chilli followed by the sweetness of mango and 80% dark chocolate.... 😌

I must admit that I am also as pleased with the visual aspect of these bâtons as much as I am with the taste!
