At a loose end this Sunday and in the vicinity of west London ? Well, clearly you should pop along to this excellently crafted event.

I’ll be there this year, but don’t let that put you off. Nice bunch of dealers selling original and modern mid/mod inspired goodies in Goldfinger designed building.

The nicest event I take part in - lovely people and lovely food. It would be splendid if you could come along.

Iconic is an over used word, but surely the 1967 album insert for Sgt Peppers makes the grade?

Designed by Peter Blake and Jann Haworth.

I remember finding and cutting one of these up in the late 70s (made very disappointing fancy dress accessories).

This original fragment of the S*x Pistols’ iconic God Save the Queen poster, belonged to Viv Albertine, artist, and guitarist with The Slits.

Albertine was at the centre of the London punk scene and was briefly in a band with Sid Vicious before he joined the Pistols

One of the rarest posters in our forthcoming sale of original music posters:

Double promotional poster for The Pop Group and The Slits double A-side single, In The Beginning There Was Rhythm / Where There’s A Will, released on Y Records, March 1980. The poster features a photograph by the Hungarian-born photographer André Kertész (1894-1985).

This example is from the personal collection of Viv Albertine, guitarist with The Slits, and comes with a signed certificate of authentication.

This collection, together with over 100 authentic promotional posters from the 1960s-1980s, goes live this weekend.
