James Cohen has been sourcing antique carpets since 1993 and works with a lot of the best known dealers and collectors. He is a passionate and committed rug addict and is focused on finding the best examples of textile art available on the planet. His unique selling vision is to service his clients as he would like to be serviced himself: There will be no hard sell, all goods will be clearly labelled and priced and if he says it is unrestored, you can be sure this is the case.

Attention private collectors! :)
I’ve been very lucky to find a superb antique Akstafa rug in pristine condition with a wild and wonderful range of unusual animals and people, far beyond the regular standard. It’s like a zoo with, according to a rough calculation, around 400 birds in just the borders alone! Fantastic natural dyes and full, velvety pile allover, it’s a real treat not only for the eyes but to the touch as well.
Please DM for details, thank you.
