"I have heard numerous DACs that were more expensive, more spectacular, more configurable, and more eager to demonstrate the progress digital audio has made. Very few have been as musically convincing. For me, that is what ultimately separated the CAD 1543 MKIII from DACs that may offer more on paper. Much like vinyl, it preserves many of the essential relationships that give music life. That's why it now stands as one of my reference points for what digital playback can become.

CAD spent last weekend with our new Chicago dealer Quintessence Audio Ltd. for a customer appreciation & birthday celebration. We meet some wonderful people, ate fantastic BBQ and listened to some amazing systems!

Another great 2026 Bristol HiFi Show!

We would like to thank all our visitors along with Wilson Benesch, Trilogy Audio Systems, Isol-8 and Innuos and of course The Bristol Hi-Fi Show !

Our 1543 MKIII DAC, USB II-R cable, Ethernet Control, USB Control, two GC1.1s and one GC3.1 Ground Controls were all used. We were also using a new pre-production noise reduction product that you will be hearing about soon!
