Wasn't it a wonderful 4 day Easter week-end? We had glorious sunshine on Friday and then a wicked storm - Katie - on Sunday - it felt like our house was being blown down!

Happy Valentines day (for yesterday!). I hope you all had a great w/end and managed to spread some love spice to someone special!

I did a roast chicken and lamb over the w/end to share my love of food to those I love most. While I was in the kitchen I cleared out my HERB & SPICE drawer. We have just moved house and I threw the entire contents of my very large H&S drawer into a very large box which I knew I'd sort on arrival. Ho hum!

This Michael Mcintyre skit sums it up nicely - I had 4 bottles of Chinese Five Spice (which I only ever use at Xmas time with our goose) and one of them expired in 2011 - FIVE YEARS AGO!!! It made me laugh so much - I had to share it!

You know my challenge now - clear your H&S drawer, rack, space - check the use by dates, consolidate and say bye bye to random things that you will never use (like MACE - what is that?! - I had 2 of them!!)

Michael McIntyre talks about the arrogant salt and pepper and the many spices that are left in the kitchen cupboard! VERY FUNNY!!!

It was this wonderful woman's book "The Life Changing Magic of Tidying" by - Marie Kondo that inspired me to set up my own decluttering business.
