DEETRON - Flow (2026 Repress) (MUTUAL RYTM)
Deetron is a venerated veteran who has been crafting sublime house and techno for three decades on a range of influential labels. 2025 brought another busy year for him, with another standout EP on Ilian Tape followed by his latest album which landed via Running Back in October. Back in 2024, he dropped his ‘Translate Rhythms’ EP on Mutual Rytm’s X series and now takes charge of the second release on SHDW’s new sub-label Mutual Rytm Raw - following the first 12” ‘You And Me’, which was a true summer anthem courtesy of KiNK & Raredub. In its original form, the bright, expressive ‘Flow’ is a fulsome techno cut that pairs a driving rhythm with sophisticated synths. It sparkles with cosmic energy, while a textured, screwy lead winds through the mix and euphoric female vocals burst out to big emotional reactions. The ‘Chord Dub’ is a tight, bouncy rework with vamping chords lighting up the drums with real warmth and soul, while the ‘Breakbeat Mix’ fizzes with rich, old school energy. The dusty breakbeats demand physical reactions, while the pads bring a grand sense of scale and the vocals tug at the heart. All three are classy, effective and offer yet more timeless sounds.

VOODOOS & TABOOS - Other Land EP (VOODOOS & TABOOS)
For the sixth release on their imprint, Voodoos and Taboos deliver “Other Land”, a 4-track EP showcasing their signature blend of diverse sonic landscapes. The record flows seamlessly through 90s-inspired Progressive House, sharp Electro, atmospheric Breakbeat, and clinical Minimal-Techno, balancing driving peak-time energy with deep, futuristic textures. A versatile 12″ designed to bridge the gap between different club aesthetics with high-fidelity precision.

GLOB DEEJAY - glob (NAFF)
glob deejay enters with ‘glob’. Presented on NAFF as a suite of naive club and dancefloor cuts engineered to take you to the otro lado.
glob deejay is the new club form from Stone Burletson, who has adopted the moniker after previous downtempo dealings under his government name. A globular shape now takes hold as a vehicle for Stone’s love of minimal house and ambient techno.

DISCOTHEQUE CREDITS - Forgiveness Not Permission EP 4 (FORGIVENESS NOT PERMISSION)
Four, soul-feeding edits drop just in time for sunshine. ‘Harlem’ serves up a light-touch edit approach, preserving the original street-corner poetry of ‘Harlem’ - with two versions supplied: Mix one for DJs with a clean intro and outro, plus an alternative second version with a tempo shift and fade. Backed with unmistakable, loved-up and iconic poolside pianos – ‘Everybody (All Over The World)’ now stripped into a global Balearic pulse: built for sunlit dancefloors & late-night gatherings. 💎 OFF THE RECORD MIX SERIES 64: MILES J PARALYSIS (LINK IN BIO) 💎
For this edition of Off The Record, we welcome a man putting punk elements back into dubbed tipped sounds: Miles J Paralysis.
Hailing from West Yorkshire but newly residing in Glasgow, Miles has been steadily shaping a world of his own through releases on Crying Outcast, Mysticisms and Emotional Response. Drawing loose threads between dub, electro, hip-hop, post-punk and regional folklore, his productions feel as informed by soundsystem culture as they do by the stranger corners of the British underground.
That restless curiosity carries over into his DJing. As comfortable reaching for a dusty breakbeat obscurity as he is a dubbed-out chugger or leftfield club tool, Miles approaches selection with an instinctive sense of movement rather than genre. “Someone once told me there are no rules in life,” he says. “I think about that a lot when putting music together.”
The mix that follows reflects exactly that mindset: a winding trip through dub pressure, punk energy, B-boy tackle and plenty in between, stitched together with the sort of individuality that’s become synonymous with his work.
With a new EP for Long Gone Are The Old Traditions, further Crying Outcast releases and a debut album on the horizon, Miles J Paralysis continues to emerge as one of the most distinctive voices operating on the fringes of UK dance music. Enjoy.

DAMES BROWN / AMP FIDDLER / MOODYMANN - Take Me As I Am (Moodymann Remix) (DEFECTED)
Revered selector Moodymann remixes ‘Take Me As I Am’ by Detroit artists Dames Brown, from their 2026 Defected LP of the same name. First distributed as a super-exclusive dubplate at Amsterdam Dance Event in late 2025, this avant-garde remix showcases a master at work, transforming the soulful feel of ‘Take Me As I Am’ into a provocative, groove-laden sonic experience for heads in the know.

Kicking off 2026 with a bang, Dames Brown’s hotly anticipated full-length LP ‘Take Me As I Am’, presented by Amp Fiddler, paid homage to the late Detroit pioneer while re-introducing the vocal-house trio to the world. Across 14 tracks, the Dames weaved together their disco, R&B and house influences and collaborated with Eddie Fowlkes, Andrés, Waajeed and Amp Fiddler himself.
