To celebrate his latest epic, we’re looking back at some of the iconic films that helped define a generation of cinema. Can you spot the difference? 👀🎬

Liza is showing off not one, but TWO rare original British Quad posters for the 1970 classic, Kelly’s Heroes! 🎖️💰

While both feature that iconic artwork, there’s a fascinating variation between these two prints:

✨ Poster 1: A gorgeous, standard “full bleed” design where the art runs straight to the edges.
✨ Poster 2: Features a blank white rectangular box in the top-left corner.

Why the white box? 🎟️
Back in the day, these blank spaces were left intentionally so local cinema managers could write, paint, or stamp in their specific showtimes and theatre information! It’s a brilliant little piece of exhibition history that shows how movies were marketed on the ground level.

One of the most infamous anti-marijuana exploitation films of the 1930s, Assassin of Youth was produced at the height of America’s growing moral panic surrounding cannabis. Exploiting sensational headlines and government-backed scare campaigns, the film warned audiences that a single puff could lead to a life of crime, debauchery and ruin.

This striking original poster is a superb example of Depression-era exploitation artwork, boldly proclaiming “Marihuana – A Puff – A Party – A Tragedy!” with dramatic graphics designed to shock and alarm cinema-goers. Rarely encountered today, it stands as both a fascinating piece of social history and a highly collectible example of classic exploitation film advertising.

This rare exploitation poster does not surface very often!

A surprise pit stop at At The Movies. 🏁🎬🚗

This afternoon we had the pleasure of welcoming Formula 1 star Daniel Ricciardo to the gallery.

Known for his infectious smile and love of great stories, both on and off the track. Daniel spent some time exploring our collection of original vintage movie posters. It was a real pleasure to meet him and chat films.

Widely regarded as one of the masterpieces of the French New Wave, this magnificent country-of-origin French Grande features a breathtaking illustration of Brigitte Bardot at the absolute height of her beauty, fame and cultural influence.

Directed by Jean-Luc Godard, based on the novel by Alberto Moravia, and starring Bardot alongside Michel Piccoli, Jack Palance and Fritz Lang, Le Mépris remains one of the defining films of European cinema.

For many collectors, this is the Bardot poster to own.

In my opinion, not only is it one of the most desirable French film posters ever produced, but quite simply one of the most beautiful movie posters of all time.
