The Alternative Bring and Buy Sale Alternative London's friendliest shopping experience...

We're a friendly alternative market where people sell off their old stuff (think clothes, shoes, accessories, music, knick-knacks or other eclectica). We also get the odd professional seller - people selling their hairpieces, artwork and handmade jewellery, amongst other things. All stuff sold at our events fall into the 'alternative' category; be it goth, punk, fe**sh, cyber or just plain weird!

Just a little update following my FB story...you've all been so patient with me since 2023 and I really appreciate it. 🖤

Once I got my own Personal Sh*t together, I tried to get back on track with our old venue but in the end, it just didn't work out. A big setback was the blocking out of all the windows - as many of you know from the Great Power Fail of ...selling black clothes in a dark space is not it. 😉😂

And so after a few false starts, I think I've found somewhere; this will be a trial run but I have high hopes - most exciting of all is that it's *fully accessible*! Something I'd always had guilt about not being able to facilitate before.

Bear with me as I get to grip with a growing list of logistics to deal with...I will be able to reveal more information soon. 🖤

Hi all - just an update...I've got in touch with the venue and we will soon be in discussion about resurrecting our events! :)

Additionally - if anyone has any good tips for a free or cheap mailing list provider, please let me know. Our current one (MailChimp) is not fit for purpose.

Hi all, thank you so much for your understanding and patience while I've taken a break from our events for personal reasons.

I'm planning to look into restarting our events very soon; it may take a little while to get the ball rolling again but we're not done and dusted! :)
