Before live sound became an industry, there was Ronald Godfrey Jones.
A self taught engineer, inventor and entrepreneur, RG built his first sound reinforcement systems in the 1920s and spent a lifetime finding better ways to help people to experience the world around them.

This photograph captures the man whose curiosity, ingenuity and determination laid the foundations for a century of innovation.

Take the 50 piece London Orchestra under the baton of David Mahoney, fold in outstanding vocalists, spectacular production and a crowd that knew every word, and the atmosphere will be electric from start to finish.

It’s always a privilege for RG Jones to return to the Royal Albert Hall, a venue where we have shared decades of memorable performances alongside our friends at RG Live. Ministry of Sound Classical was another special chapter, bringing together world class talent, technical excellence and one of the most iconic venues in the world.

Huge credit to the dream team out in the arena. Phil at FOH, Bluey on lights, and a shout out to every member of the crew who delivered excellence at every level.

RG Jones successfully delivered Omar Khairat at the Royal Albert Hall yesterday, led by PM Sam Thomas and on site team, Harry Honywill and Conor Adams.

Supporting one of the most celebrated contemporary composers and pianists, the production featured an entirely DiGiCo control package alongside a full L-Acoustics foldback solution using LA4X amplified controllers with X8 and X12 loudspeakers. RF systems included Shure PSM1000 and Axient Digital wireless solutions.

Opening night of the live music series at

A seriously impressive new venue in Surrey. Surrounded by residential Cobham, but stepping through the entrance feels like crossing into another world.

Gardner opened the series and RG Jones delivered full AV production in a space where control is everything.

Big shout to our engineers Harry and George. From Festival Main Stages to intimate venues, our team deliver the same level of consistency every time.

First night of the series done. This venue is going to turn heads.

A sea of cowboy hats. Boots on the ground. Big crowds. More stages.

C2C takes over The O2 Arena every year, bringing the biggest names in country music to the UK. Once again, we delivered the stages around the site, expanding to six this year.

From open-air builds to packed indoor spaces, each stage was engineered to keep sound exactly where it needed to be in a fast-moving, high-traffic environment, with tight changeovers throughout.
