This was yesterday, but I’m only just finding the words today.

I honestly didn’t think we’d ever get to this point. This Father’s Day means more than I can put into words. Can you believe he’s here? We did it.

To everyone who supported us, believed in us, stood by us, and helped us through the hardest days — thank you. We are endlessly grateful for the love, kindness, and encouragement we’ve received from day one.

We genuinely love you all.

Her brows had faded gracefully (as good PMU should!) so we rebalanced the shape and built the colour back up to perfection. She walked out looking absolutely stunning 😍

Today is World Transplant Day, and it’s hard to believe we’re already three months on from the biggest nightmare of our lives.

The struggles are still very real. Recovery isn’t linear, and there are still challenges every single day. But alongside that, there is something even greater—gratitude.

Gratitude for the gift of life. Gratitude for every day we get to wake up and make new memories. Gratitude for the incredible medical teams, our family and friends, and for Sara our selfless donor and their loved ones who made this second chance possible.

Three months later, we’re still healing, still adjusting, and still taking things one day at a time. But today, especially, we’re celebrating life and never taking a single moment for granted.

Moments like this remind me just how grateful I am. After more than 20 years in this industry, I still feel incredibly lucky to do what I love.

What makes it even more special are the amazing clients who have supported me throughout the years—many of whom have been coming back year after year. Your loyalty, trust, kindness, and friendship mean more to me than you’ll ever know.

You’ve supported me through so much, both professionally and personally, and I truly see you all as my extended family. That girl on the left just showed up on my timeline and honestly… she broke my heart a little. 😔

Lost in stress. Lost in worry. Completely lost in herself.

Fast forward four years and the girl on the right? She’s tired. She carries more than she probably should. Some days it genuinely feels like living inside a Netflix horror documentary. 🎬

But here’s the thing — she padels 🎾She shows up for her incredible clients who she loves💖. And somehow — somehow — she keeps that smile.

Because glow ups aren’t always about how you look. Sometimes they’re about how much you’ve survived. 💪

That’s not weakness. That’s the quiet, unglamorous kind of strength nobody talks about enough.

Autoimmune liver disease and liver cancer are truly some of the cruellest diseases anyone can face.

If sharing our journey can help even one person find the support, treatment, or answers they need, then it’s worth it. If you’ve been told there are no options left, or you feel like you’ve reached a dead end, please don’t give up. We are always happy to share our experience and point people in the direction of help that could make a difference.

What I struggle to understand is why so many people are left suffering for so long, often becoming critically ill before being given a life-saving opportunity such as a liver transplant. There are people out there who need help, and there are often more options than they realise.

The NHS is doing important work through ongoing trials, and had James been diagnosed correctly from the beginning, he may have been eligible for one of them. But I truly believe everything happens for a reason, and our journey led us to the incredible team in Istanbul who gave us hope when we needed it most.

At the same time, I want to say how incredibly grateful we are for the care we are receiving now through the NHS. The aftercare from the Royal Free has been nothing short of amazing, and we are so thankful for the support, expertise, and compassion we’ve received throughout this stage of our journey.

We’ve been living this reality for around 12 years now. For so long, very few people knew what was happening behind the scenes, and now everyone knows. It’s been an emotional roller coaster filled with heartbreak, fear, hope, gratitude, and resilience.

To everyone affected by autoimmune liver disease, liver cancer, or the transplant journey, we are sending you so much love and strength. Please keep fighting. There is always hope. ❤️

A little life update 🌍 Lots of people think a liver transplant = problem solved. The reality is a bit more beautiful and complicated than that — it’s weekly bloods, regular hospital stays, good days and hard ones. This is just life now. And James is being looked after so incredibly well 🤍
