Antique Victorian Christening Gown Dress Princess Line Embroidered Baptism

Antique Victorian princess line christening gown, which has been produced from white cotton which has embroidered whitework to the bodice, sleeves and robing to the skirt. The gown has a "V"shaped panel of floral embroidered whitework to the bodice which is edged with matching trim. The skirt of the gown has a deep inverted "V" panel, which has matching embroidered whitework detail. The gown fastens to the back via a cord ties to the waist and fabric covered buttons. The gown also comes with white cotton lace trimmed petticoat/ underskirt.

CONDITION -
The gown is in good condition for age and delicate nature, although there is a faint brown mark to the bodice, plus an old darned repair to a the back. There are several faint black marks to the back of the skirt. The petticoat in a good condition, although there are several faint brown marks to the fabric, plus there are a couple of tiny holes to the fabric.
