To mark today’s lunar eclipse, we are opening the doors at Allegory for a free community gathering with Solta‑Ra.

The lunar eclipse is a natural moment of interruption: the familiar light disappears, our perspective shifts, and what usually remains hidden briefly comes into view. Join us among the crystals to pause, reset and consider what you are ready to release and what you would like to carry forward with greater clarity. There will be live readings, discussions about tarot, interpretation and what this moon means.

This is a free event, open to the community.

Have you ever wondered if there was a purer alternative to the traditional plated necklaces ?

After some research we found an option which we are all road testing now. (you’ll see our staff wearing them in store in Highgate ! )

Our chains are formed from Hematite, rather than conventional base metal. An iron-rich mineral, Hematite has long been associated with the blood, strength and physical vitality. It is also considered one of the great grounding stones valued for focus, balance and its ability to bring more energetic stones firmly back to earth.

For protection, black tourmaline is a natural choice. Traditionally used to clear unwanted energy and reinforce personal boundaries, it makes a quietly powerful pairing with Hematite: protective, stabilising and designed for daily wear.

Another favourite combination is Moldavite.
Formed by a meteorite impact around 15 million years ago, this rare green tektite is associated with rapid change, expanded awareness and spiritual evolution. Its intensity is precisely why Hematite works so well beside it, acting as an anchor without diminishing its momentum.

Known as Phantom Quartz, these formations appear as ghost-like silhouettes, delicate sprays or layered landscapes hidden inside the crystal,e ach is a singular geological record of growth, transformation and time.

At first glance, they resemble an abstract canvas, as though black pigment has been scattered across clear crystal. Look closer and nature reveals something far more remarkable. What appears to be shadow is the ancient growth of Black Tourmaline, suspended within the quartz as it formed over millions of years. Each inclusion marks a pause in the crystal's evolution.

Spiritually, Phantom Quartz is regarded as a stone of evolution. It encourages us to honour every stage of our own journey, reminding us that periods of stillness, challenge and renewal all become part of who we are.

The phantom is not an imperfection, but a visible history of becoming.

With its veils of honey and burnished gold, natural smoky citrine feels less like a stone than a landscape captured in crystal. Especially when you find rainbows and unexpected worlds within the stone.
