With the little time I had to experiment this month on my own work, I made a few new pieces ❤️. The studio also had some lovely kids workshops and I finally got the Italian copy of my book!

1. New experiment with decoration. Something I have never done before but keen to develop.
2. Lots of uses for this little plate but this is my favourite.
3. My friend .dogdesign always likes to send me random ceramic inspiration on Instagram 😂 and this was one of them. An olive and pip dish ! Which until you have one , you won’t understand what are missing out on😂 I made this for her and I have made a few more for my shop update soon.
4. Olive and pip dish in action. Don’t have to be Olives! It has many other uses.

The Italian version of my book has been out for a while but this is the first time receiving it ❤️ Thank you to those who have sent me a message from Italy to say they have bought it and thank you to my wonderful friend for finding it in a bookshop in Italy and taking a photo with it!

I wrote this book in 2022 and it has been translated in French and German too. I am very proud of it ❤️. It is available online in major retailers and on my website you can get a signed copy 😄 I will just need to practise my signature ✍️

January has been a busy one in the studio ✨
We’ve had our 4-week coffee lovers course, kids’ workshops, and lots of production work for clients.
Thank you so much for supporting my small business and keeping me busy this month ❤️

This year I have made around 1,750 pieces by hand , each one thrown, trimmed, fired and sent out into the world. These images show just a few of the steps I carry out on a weekly basis in my studio along with the many workshops that have taken place this year.

I’m so grateful to everyone who bought a piece, came to a class, shared my work, or simply cheered me on. Your support keeps my studio busy, and I honestly couldn’t do this without you.

The studio is now closed until the New Year. Yesterday was filled with cleaning jobs, reclaim, emptying clay trap 🤢, packaging last of orders and prepping clay for next year. I haven’t seen the shelves this empty in ages!

Thank you to everyone who has supported my business this year through workshops, commissions , purchasing my work, to drop in students who use the studo or even sending me kind messages throughout the year. It’s means so much.

Workshop vouchers are still available to purchase on my website.

I will be posting before the New Year ends with the total number of pots I have made this year ! I have never really kept track of this before so it was interesting to do it this year ❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who came to my Open Studios today ❤️ it was so lovely to see regulars, new faces and family visiting. I really appreciate your support so so much and wouldn’t be here in this studio without you!

I’m opening my studio doors for a festive Christmas open studio on 13th December 10.30am-4pm.

I’ll be selling a mix of brand new pieces, older favourites, seconds, and a selection of handmade Christmas decorations, perfect for gifting, decorating, or treating yourself.

I will be updating my website shop on 30th November with restocks, new work and some seconds/samples. If I don’t get struck by any virus/cold/flu 🦠 then I will open my studio on 13th December to sell the remaining work and there will be some more new work available too ❤️

A new project I have been working on over the past two months with 🤎
It’s always such a joy to partner with local independent businesses who truly appreciate handmade pieces. I used my new brown glaze for this batch to tie in with their branding, and these 8oz cups are the perfect size for a flat white 🤎. They are now available to purchase on their website.
