Chelsea Physic Garden London's oldest botanic garden Situated in the heart of London, this 'Secret Garden' is a centre of education, beauty and relaxation.

Chelsea Physic Garden was founded by the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries of London in 1673 for its apprentices to study the medicinal qualities of plants. Throughout the 1700s it was one of the most important centres of botany and plant exchange in the world. It is London’s oldest botanic garden and a unique living museum.

🩺 Living Medicine: Skin and First Aid

This one-day workshop will explore how to nourish the body’s largest organ using foods and herbs, helping you to address common skin problems.

Led by medical herbalist and author Alex Laird, you’ll learn through hands-on remedy making and create your own infused oils, ointments, creams, and lotions.

Trollius chinensis or the Chinese globeflower. ✨

Found from Southern Siberia to Northern China, Mongolia to Korea, this glowing flower is known for its ornamental and medicinal value.

Traditionally, the Chinese have used it for medicinal and tea purposes, dating back to the Qing Dynasty. It is recorded in Materia Medica (Qing Dynasty) as “bitter in taste, cold in nature, non-toxic, mainly used for heat-clearing and detoxicating." 🍵
