Excited to be at The Repair Cafe in Thamesmead today - and see people bringing small electrical items and clothing for repair. It was especially pleasing to see people bringing items they’d had for 30 years and able to continue using them thanks to the talented fixers and enthusiastic volunteers.

Thank you to everyone who came to top up your refills, browse plastic-free essentials, or recycle your breadbags at Lesnes Abbey Farmers’ Market yesterday.
Special thanks to volunteers Sara Jones and Martin for doing the early start and all the heavy lifting!
Our next refill stall is at Danson House Producers Market on Sunday 23 August from 10 am - 3 pm. Hope to see you there!

Today! Bring your empties- tell your. Friends. Please spread the word and let’s share the refill habit and reduce plastic waste!

We received news this week that the Terracycle Bread Bag recycling scheme is coming to an end.
We will send off our last batch of bread bags for recycling on 10 August. Currently we don't have enough to qualify for a donation - so if you have any lying around, we'd love to have them! Every kg collected and sent off raises £1 for Kent Air Ambulance.

To enable us to collect as many bags as possible before the deadline, we will be accepting bread bags at our refill stall at Lesnes Abbey Farmers' Market on Sunday 9 August, 10 am - 3 pm. No other recycing please for space reasons and to avoid the risk of littering the beautiful setting of Lesnes Abbey.

Please ensure that all bags are completely empty and are packed as compactly as possible (but not knotted please).

If you have a stash of bread bags and are unable to attend on 9th, please message to make alternative arrangements.
