“A major leap forward in gravel tyre performance”: WTB’s new high-volume aero

gravel tyres include features to lower drag

WTB launches aero gravel tyres in 50mm, 52mm and 54mm widths

WTB has launched a range of three wide, high-volume gravel tyres, which feature

patent-pending technology that is said to improve their aerodynamics and

represent “a major leap forward in gravel tyre performance”.

The three new tyres are the 50mm-wide Byway RS, 52mm Course and 54mm

Macro.

WTB says it has balanced traction, rolling resistance and flat protection to optimise

ride quality and produce what it claims are the fastest gravel tyres possible.

Met Office maps reveal where 27°C warmth will return this weekend - but how long

will it last?

Summer warmth is set to return to parts of Britain this weekend, but not everyone

will enjoy it. While the south could see temperatures climb towards 27°C, rain and

blustery conditions will continue across northern areas.

A return to summer warmth is on the way for parts of the UK this weekend, with

temperatures rising across southern areas while northern Britain remains more

unsettled.

Friday will bring a mixture of sunshine and showers, but conditions will gradually

improve across much of the country ahead of a warmer Sunday.

Sunshine and showers before weekend warmth

Northern Britain will see spells of sunshine on Friday afternoon, although it will

remain breezy with scattered showers, particularly across northern and western

areas. The north-west is likely to see the most frequent showers, with some

turning locally heavy.

Cube launches four urban ebikes – including low-maintenance belt-drive models

German brand introduces Editor Hybrid 360 and Supreme Hybrid C:62, with all-

new frames for the Fold Hybrid and Compact Hybrid

Cube has launched two new electric urban hybrid bikes, the Editor Hybrid 360 and

Supreme Hybrid C:62, while its Fold Hybrid and Compact Hybrid have been

refreshed with all-new frames. There are also updates to Cube's existing line-up,

with additional belt drive Deluxe models.

The German brand has made changes to its other lines, too. The Kathmandu Hybrid

has a new stem, an updated suspension seatpost and an integrated frame lock.

There is now a second model with Enviolo automatic continuously variable shifting.
