Android Testers Wanted: Paranormal Field Log
Web are looking for paranormal investigators and enthusiasts to help test Paranormal Field Log, a new Android app designed specifically for documenting investigations in the field.
The vision is to replace scattered notebooks, recordings and disconnected files with one organised, professional case-management system.
The app is built to help investigators record what happened, when it happened and how different findings relate to the wider investigation.
Paranormal Field Log includes:
Location and investigation case files
Evidence logging for photos, videos, audio and documents
Witness statements and entity profiles
Investigation timelines, notes and observations
Structured logs for common investigation methods and sessions
Evidence review and linking
PDF investigation reports
Local backup, restore and file sharing
Offline-first operation, helping avoid unnecessary internet activity around investigation equipment
Important: Paranormal Field Log is a documentation and logging tool. It does not detect ghosts, generate paranormal evidence or claim that a phone can identify paranormal activity. Its purpose is to record and organise the investigator’s own observations, equipment readings and evidence.
We are looking for testers who can explore the app, try realistic investigation workflows and report:
Crashes, errors or information that does not save correctly
Confusing controls or difficult workflows
Text or layouts that are difficult to read
Missing information in evidence records or reports
Features that work differently from what you expected
General feedback and suggestions from a real investigator’s perspective
Tester requirements
An Android phone or tablet
Access to Google Play
A Google Account registered on the device
Your testing email must be registered as a Google Account. It does not have to be a Gmail address: an existing Outlook, Hotmail or other email address can be registered with Google without creating a new Gmail inbox.
This testing programme is currently Android only. There is no iPhone or iPad version available at present.
