This Saturday 5 September, start the month with an afternoon of free family fun at The Village School of Dance! 🩰✨

Taking place from 1–3pm in the heart of Wimbledon Village, Family Day is a chance for current families—and anyone curious about joining classes for the new term—to meet the team, get creative and enjoy an afternoon together. Here’s what to expect:

🎨 Crafts and games
🎭 Face painting
👕 A uniform stand
🥤 Drinks and snacks
🎶 A special K-Pop character appearance

September is a time for fresh starts, learning and building greater understanding. 💛

This month, The London Autism Service, part of The Family Treatment Service, is hosting a three-session support group for parents and carers:

Understanding Female Autism: Unmasking the Hidden Profiles

The sessions explore why autism can present differently in girls and women, including masking, burnout and the impact of social expectations.

📅 9 September: The Invisible Profile – How Autism Presents in Girls & AFAB Youth
📅 16 September: The Cost of Masking – Mental Health & Identity
📅 23 September: Supporting Girls to Thrive – Strengths, Connection & Self-Understanding

Facilitated by Jess Birchall, the sessions offer a supportive space to build understanding, share experiences and develop practical ways to support children and young people, all within the clinic’s comfortable setting in the heart of Wimbledon Village.

The Wimbledon Art Trail returns on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September! 🎨

More than 90 local artists and makers will transform shops, studios, homes, gardens and businesses across Wimbledon Village, the town centre and beyond into one welcoming gallery.

Discover original paintings, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, prints and sculpture, meet the artists and hear the stories behind their work. New venues including Elys, Day True, Farrow & Ball and Holloways of Ludlow will also be taking part.

The trail is completely free, with no booking required. Choose your route, explore at your own pace and perhaps take home a piece created by Wimbledon’s brilliant art community.

Here’s a very fun date for the diary of you and your fur friends! Wimbledon Guild’s Waggy Walk returns on Saturday 3rd October, raising money for a wonderful local cause Wimbledon Guild

Choose from a 4km or 7km walk across Wimbledon Common, starting and finishing at The Hand in Hand, with refreshments, doggy goody bags and a warm community atmosphere.

New for 2026, little walkers can enjoy the Family Fun Trail, solving clues and collecting a prize at the finish! 🔎

🎟️ Early-bird adult tickets: £14
👧 One child goes free with every adult ticket
🐶 Dogs go FREE when booked in advance

Saddle up for a fabulous family day in Wimbledon Village! 🐴✨

Join us for the Wimbledon Village Dress Up Day, face-painting, arts and crafts, a treasure trail packed with treats and the chance to explore the Village Stables.

Come in your favourite fancy dress costume to receive a free Wimbledon Village badge and don’t forget your four-legged friends, as there’ll be treats for dogs dressed in their finest outfits too! 🐶🎭

What’s happening:

🎨 12–4pm: Face-painting, colouring and Treasure Trail start point at the Rose & Crown

⭐ 2–3pm: Wimbledon Village Stables Open Day — tour the yard, meet the horses and say hello to the star of the stables, Mr Fudge!
