Caravansérail is a bookshop, gallery and cultural platform in London’s Brick Lane. Founded by Laura and Anne, Caravansérail is a home for hybrid cultures, bringing together French and English-speaking writers and artists from around the globe. We present a selection of French and English language books, specialising in fiction and illustrated books for adults and children. Our gallery hosts artist

s and presents their works in a regular programme of events, live performances and exhibitions. While enjoying a good book or magazine, or just enjoying the bustling street scene outside, come by and have a cafetière or a pot of tea and some small gourmandises. Welcoming others is a core value we embrace. We are inspired by the creations that result from people interacting with difference, and have established our Caravansérail to offer hospitality to our neighbourhood and those traveling through it.
