Phew - too hot for me. Back in Alfies Saturday if cooler. Just read up on new packaging rules for the EU. that have just come in. Don't even understand them so will not be sending to the EU at the moment - and possibly not for rather a while. What do other sellers think? Just love this cameo. So well carved. Some are so aweful! .

Now have 8 of them - all mismatched. Usually nobody notices. Perhaps I should start using some of them!

Some channel set beauties. These diamanté and mother of pearl stones do not have claws.
They are held in place by two pieces of metal - in channels. The mother of pearl ones tend to be later. The plain ones are usually Art Deco. The earlier ones are harder to find and a bit of a problem if a stone is missing!

Not in Alfies until Saturday - when I hope I have been able to get a restful night's sleep. Putting this Art Deco necklace on the web site when I can find the energy to take more photos. Would wear this but I do have enough Art Deco necklaces! Must sell some. When I first started selling I did specialise in Deco and did all the Deco fairs. It was so popular then. Some of you might remember the fairs at Greenwich, Battersea and Kensington. .

Love these. That's what we all want at the moment - water out of our taps! In case you are not aware - if you are Thames Water and get registered as a priority customer you can continue to use a hose pipe. Easy to register online. Anyway cannot remember where I got these from but they are quite funny. 'sthewater
