Amnesty Kentish Town New Amnesty bookshop in Kentish Town, a few mins walk from Kentish Town station. Delighted to be selling pre-loved books to this vibrant community.

The Kentish Town Amnesty Bookshop is once again open for business. Mon 12- Sat 17 April, 11am-5pm

We’re not taking donations in the first week back, but from the 19th April onwards we’ll accept donations in Tuesday’s and Friday’s (only). Books can also be bought via our social media channels using PayPal. DM us to purchase. Instagram:

Note: in the uk sweet that you buy at the seaside are called rocks. They are long, hard candy sticks with letters or patterns running all the way through. I suppose the write is referring to those when they suggest that the recipient use it for a seaside cake. They aren’t asking them to eat actual rocks!😂

Also “Week out has been G.T. Tonic.”
Means that This past week has been fuelled by gin and tonic.

So the writer is humorously saying they’ve been drinking a lot of gin and tonics lately, often implying that it’s either been a sociable week or a tiring/stressful one.
