Sophie Cagniart is a French fashion designer and artist based in Amsterdam and is the founder of Silent Wave Indigo.
Her creations are sustainable, unique and pure. With original designs and up-cycled pieces are created by repurposing used denim, giving them a second life. She allows the customer to be part of the creative process by tattooing their denim garments and allowing the pieces to have a second life!

With a true passion for denim, having experimented and worked with it for many years, she is constantly discovering new ways to work the rough yet iconic material. There is a true beauty in craftsmanship, with everything about her embroideries allowing her to tell a story and give each of her designs a soul.
She has the ability to express her artistic views through tattooing denim and in the process there is no-waste, no-over production and everything she makes is a one of a kind.
