Inspired by the beautiful tile work of Portugal, the Azulejo Throw is a little bit of the Mediterranean in your home.

Portuguese: [ɐzuˈle(j)ʒu, ɐzuˈlɐjʒu], Spanish: [aθuˈlexo]; from the Arabic الزليج, al-zillīj

This is the word used to describe hand painted tin-glazed ceramic tilework. Known as an ornamental art form, these tiles aided temperature control in homes across the Mediterranean region and Portuguese colonies across the world.
