“The Crown Prince, London 2025” Handcrafted from 125 year old prime maple on the distinct workshop model.

The wood of this violin has been around the world over the last century and a quarter, from a Balkan forest in 1900, to America in the mid 20th century, Japan in the 21st century and finally London to be crafted into a fine violin.

Some things are worth waiting for.

A full clean of a classical Italian violin. The ribs, front, back, neck & scroll are meticulously and sympathetically cleaned using specialist restoration products. The pegs, tailpiece & endpin are cleaned & buffed, any metal parts are cleaned & oiled, then a fine wax is used to protect the wood, leaving a luscious matt shine. Violin by Giovanni Battista Rogeri, Brescia 1709.

A fine violin by Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume is now available at Ruschil London. Made in Paris, 1862 this Stradivari model has been created by one of the greatest luthiers in history. Spectacular in all areas and a masterpiece.
