Do you know your ACT? 👀

Not the exam… your client’s natural lash cycle 😂

🌱 A — Anagen = Growth
The lash is actively growing. An extension applied during this stage may have significant grow-out by the next infill.

🔄 C — Catagen = Transition
Growth has stopped and the lash is transitioning towards its resting phase, so you may notice much less grow-out.

🍂 T — Telogen = Resting
The natural lash is nearing the end of its cycle and will eventually shed — taking the extension with it.

And THIS is why understanding the lash cycle matters. 👇🏼

An extension coming off doesn’t automatically mean poor retention. If the natural lash is attached, it may simply have reached the end of its natural cycle.

And that very grown-out extension at an infill? Remove it and replace it in the correct position rather than leaving an unbalanced extension sitting halfway along the natural lash.

Good lash artistry isn’t about stopping shedding. It’s about understanding and working WITH the natural lash cycle. 🤍
