LET'S GET WOOLWORTHS BACK TO NUMBER ONE !!
Depending on what Area you live in some of our Members may have heard that there is to be a Christmas Charity Song being released on the 14th November 2025 called "Christmas Ain't the Same Without Woolworths" .
The aim is to try and get the song to Number one for Christmas but also there is a major Charity that will benefit from Donations also .
I will leave Glyn Gant to explain exactly how it works ..
The Charity that will benefit from the donations will be Douglas Macmillan Hospice (Dougie Mac) there is a Just Giving Page and the wording of which is as follows
"The song is the work of two local radio presenters, Glyn Gant and Steve Lewis, who present The Saturday Show with Glyn & Steve on local community station The Cat 107.9. The single has been professionally recorded and produced by Lee Platt at his studios in Staffordshire and also features Glyn's wife Julie and his son Dan on guitar.
More than just a song, this special release aims to make a real difference. 100% of proceeds from the single will go directly to support Douglas Macmillan Hospice (Dougie Mac), a cherished local charity providing vital end-of-life care and support to patients and families across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.

I know we don't try to Commercialise this Group but I really feel this is an opportunity " for those that wish to " can support a great Charity and also make a push for Woolworths to be further remembered by downloading the single on it's release on November 14th ... Maybe Glyn Gant can explain how we can do that possibly now and then remind everyone nearer the time ..

I wonder if we can beat our record of 1.4 million shares since the Group began 5 years ago .
