Deal made!

After few months of searching, I am pleased to say all our records have gone to in Berlin. I have had many offers but Thomas and Michel were super professional and gave me a very fair offer.

Thankfully this is a little more than a sale, HHV is very keen to continue Vinyl Pimp's legacy in the UK, to search for interesting vinyl collections to buy or potentially sell on comission.

I will be helping them to achieve in over the coming months, to establish a good flow of vinyl going their way. To be honest I was a little worried at first with customs etc, but we managed to ship 20k items last week with no issues!

Vinyl Pimp is now officially closed as a physical shop, but feel free to give us a DM if you need to sell your vinyl collection!

Today is the 20th anniversary of being on ! Thank you for providing the platform for us to build over the years!

Just to show you how long that is, here is a photo from October 2008 at our Hackney Wick warehouse / bedroom, just a few months after moving all my records there. I hardly took any photos with my records prior to that point of my life.

Update on our business sale to come, we have a buyer lined up! All I can say is that Vinyl Pimp will continue, but not in Hackney Wick. 🥹

ONLY 1 MONTH left for our overnight stay guestroom before it is closed for good, I hope you don't mind it is slowly being transformed to be the baby room (One booking already walked on us at check in because they saw the pram and crib 😩)

The second reason I need to close is that my landlord has served us a section 25 eviction notice, so I will be putting my energy into trying to get a new lease through court. Their current demand is a 3x increase of rent!! Anyone has experience dealing with section 25 please DM!

The 3rd reason is that my time nowadays is mostly invested into my other business , so records dealing will resume properly during non peak BBQ season, aka the winter.

Sunday 13th October will be the final day we can offer our guestroom to you to stay overnight. This is due to a change of personal circumstances (Very positive) I am going to need the room back!

It has been an amazing 14 months hosting diggers from all over the world, who I think most have gone home with some very nice records albeit with very little sleep 🤣
