🎨 Sip & Paint is going mini! 🖌️

We’re back for our third Sip & Paint night, and this time we’re getting stuck into some gorgeous bookmark painting mini-kits from Paige Anderson

Beautifully designed, beginner friendly, and so lovely you might want to frame your finished painting instead of using it as a bookmark. ✨

We’ve watched you speed through your paintings, take your time over the little details, and make each one completely your own. This month, we’re going mini with these lovely kits and spending a few hours getting to grips with gouache - a beautiful painting medium that makes it surprisingly easy to feel like an artist.

Enjoy a drink from the bar, take your time, and leave with your very own hand-painted bookmark. 💛

A little shrine to the things you love? Yes please. ✨

We had so much fun seeing what everyone made at our last Make Your Own Mini Shrine workshop, our next one is coming up on Sunday September 27th at 2pm.

Bring along photos, trinkets and little treasures, or dig into our stash of bits and bobs to create something completely unique to your modern-day icons. Think favourite people, places, pets, objects, obsessions… anything that deserves a little shrine of its own.

We'll provide all the materials, including our in-house designed wooden mini shrines, plus a drink to keep you crafting.

Come and spend a few creative hours celebrating your favourite things and making your own totally maximalist piece to hang on your wall, sit on your desk, or gift to someone special.

The nights are drawing in, a hint of pumpkin spice is almost in the air and it’s all giving cosy season 🍄🐿️

Sip & Cross Stitch returns on Friday 11th September, 7pm in Deptford and we’re easing into cosy season with two Cotton Clara mini kits: a squirrel or a mushroom duo, your call.

Grab a drink from the bar, pick your kit, and settle in for a properly mindful couple of hours of stitching. Whether you’ve never picked up a needle or you’re already a pro, we’ll be right there to help.

Ready to start making time for some creativity, but not sure where to start?.. Print 4 Ways is the perfect way to join us for if you’ve been curious about printmaking, want a try some new things, or have been looking for ways to expand your creative toolbox.

In the first four weeks, we’ll step through the basics of four very different techniques:

- Gelli printing (monoprinting)
- Lino printing with mounted blocks
- Tetrapak printing
- Cyanotype printing

And then you’ll have two weeks to explore your favourites further, with support, by creating your own personal project.

Starting on Monday 7th September, with an afternoon class from 2pm or evening from 6.30pm

There is something deeply thrilling about turning sheets of paper into a notebook, and now we have three ways to try at our book binding workshops

Whether it’s a short 90 taster session to try saddle stitch or Japanese stab stitch binding, or our longer French Link stitch workshop, you’ll leave having made at least two notebooks.

We’ll step through a demo together, taking you through the process step-by-step and then be there to support you as you make your own.

No experience needed, all materials included - and plenty of dates to choose from to ease you into crafty, cosy season.

It’s that time again! 🪡

This Friday from 7pm, we’ll be sipping and cross stitching some pigeons and seagulls!

These two Cotton Clara craft kits were firm favourites the last time we pitted them againest each other.. which would you do?

Your £20 ticket includes:
- cross stitch kit
- a drink from our bar
- demo and guidance for how to start
- a room full of relaxing chat to ease you into the weekend (whether you come solo or bring friends)

And if you’ve done these before.. you’re welcome to choose an alternative from all our kits :)

Starting this September, we're reclaiming Tuesday evenings for slow stitching.

Join us for a four-week course exploring appliqué and hand embroidery, where we'll guide you through a range of techniques to help you confidently design and stitch your own piece of textile art.

Working with fabric collage, you'll create something that's uniquely yours. Choose a favourite phrase, a line of poetry, a lyric, or an image that means something to you, and transform it into banners, bag panels or a standalone textile artwork.

We'll work at a gentle pace that's perfect for complete beginners, while giving more experienced stitchers plenty of opportunities to experiment, refine their skills and make something beautiful.

All materials are included, but you're very welcome to bring along your own treasured scraps if you'd like to use them into your piece or work on a larger scale.

Has Frida fever got you too? 🌺🎨

With the Frida Kahlo exhibition bringing a splash of colour to London this summer, we're taking inspiration from the vibrant world of Mexican and Latin American folk art with our Make Your Own Mini Shrine Workshop.

Spend a joyful afternoon creating a colourful, hand-decorated shrine dedicated to whoever (or whatever!) you love most. Think favourite photos, treasured trinkets, lucky charms, glitter, ribbons and all the wonderfully over-the-top embellishments you can fit inside.

Whether you're celebrating your dog, your family, your favourite band, your best friend or simply your love of colour, you'll leave with a one-of-a-kind piece that's bursting with personality.

This summer, we're making space for families to get creative together 💛

Our Make Together sessions are the perfect chance for parents, carers and children to slow down, create something special, and enjoy some screen-free time together. Best of all? We'll take care of the tidy up!

These aren't workshops where the grown-ups simply supervise - everyone gets stuck in. Every person leaves having made something they're genuinely proud of, creating memories (and handmade keepsakes) along the way.

Got older kids? Alongside our family sessions, we've also got plenty of our regular workshops running throughout the summer holidays. They're a brilliant way for teens, tweens and grown-ups to spend quality time together while learning a new craft.

Whether you're making memories with little ones or enjoying a creative afternoon with your older children, we'd love to welcome you this summer.
