Every toy we create is designed with care and intention — to feel good in the hand, to support natural developmental stages, and to grow with the child. We think about rotation, balance, weight, and pattern. We ask: “How will a child use this?” — not just how it looks on a shelf. Our puzzles, tracing boards, and learning tools are designed to develop motor skills, spatial awareness, persistence, and independence — without ever feeling like work. Materials We Use
We don’t use plastic — not because it’s bad, but because we’ve found better. Our materials do the talking. We work with FSC-certified oak from France and Norfolk, and CITES-certified exotic hardwoods like Padauk, Zebrano, Purpleheart, and Tigerwood. Each wood is chosen for its grain, colour, and natural warmth — no dyes, no paints. Just careful shaping, sanding, and oiling to bring out what’s already beautiful. Packaging is natural too: soft felt wraps, recyclable cardboard, plastic-free labels, and a small pot of natural oil to care for the toy over time. For Montessori & Waldorf Families

We don’t talk about sustainability because it sounds good — we simply make choices that feel better. There’s no plastic because we haven’t needed it. Every toy is wrapped in wool felt, placed inside our custom boxes, and finished with recyclable materials. All woods are sourced with care, and our workshop offcuts are repurposed into test pieces and smaller designs whenever possible. How They're Made & Where
Our toys are designed in the UK and made in small batches using precision tools and hands-on finishing. Every board, puzzle, and piece is individually sanded and oiled — no factory lines, no mass production.
