Haberdashery, crafts, handmade products, bepoke gifts, courses & events 🧵 We thought if we can help others with the same problems then why not?

As sewers, we found that we could not find a good, cheap sewing & fabric shop within our area. Travelling miles & hours plus expensive parking charges made us realise that we could help ourselves and locals, who have told us of the same problems. So Taylor & Abel was created to ease the frustration.

Summer holidays are upon us and we’re not as prepared as we’d like to be.

It’s family time and things out our control means our little shop will be shut Friday 31st July and open from 1pm til 4pm Saturday 1st August.

Sorry it’s last minute communication.

Hi All,

I'm just popping on quickly to apologise regarding this weekend. It was my fault. I should have put a message up saying we would be closed Saturday and I didn't.

Many many apologises.

School is out and I've slept non stop for 3 days! worrying thing is, when did I start swapping end of term pub trips to sleeping for days! 🤣

It's a bit sporadic over the next few weeks. Famliy holidays between us all so we will do our very best to keep things steady for you all.

Please let us know what you would like to see going on at the shop this summer holiday.
