A couple of days earlier than planned but today will be our last day of trading.
Due to all the amazing support you have all shown we are down to the last couple of bars…. Literally!

Not sure I can explain how much I appreciate the love you have all shown my small business over the years…. And the kindness in the last few weeks/months whilst I have been navigating closing a business at a Christmas.

A bittersweet goodbye as I have loved and grown Kacao for the past 8 years…. But I am excited for the future and a new chapter.

An update from Kacao…

As some of you may or may not have seen our shop at The Station and website is still open! 🙈
I made the decision due to some fantastic support to keep running until Christmas 🎄
So you can pop down and see me at the shop or maybe shop one last time this Christmas via the website
And you may hopefully see some posts coming up on here to keep teasing you with all our goodies! 😋

We have plenty of teacher gifts available in our station shop and online 🌻

☀️ If shopping at The Station we recommend you getting down tomorrow or Saturday…. Due to the unusually high temperatures we are monitoring things and may need to close Sunday/Tuesday ☀️

But now it’s time to move forward and I have sadly decided we will be closing the doors to Kacao Chocolaterie

Firstly I would like to thank every single person who has bought from us, supported us and encouraged us for years. You have been the reason this business has flourished, supported our community and most importantly turned out absolutely delicious chocolate. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of the Kacao family

Kacao has been my life and I feel so lucky and privileged to have lived the last 8 years creating something to be proud of
I am stepping aside to focus on my gorgeous little boy and take on some new career challenges… I am excited about what the future holds

We are in talks about passing on the Kacao torch to someone passionate about chocolate with the possibility Kacao may stay open - we will take any other serious enquires

We will be open at The Station shop and online for another 6/7 weeks so you can get your chocolate fix before we go. I would love to ask for your support to see us off, anything you can buy from us will be greatly appreciated – you will find the luxury and quality you always have until the end
We are not just disappearing out of sight and will keep you updated and tempted over the coming weeks

Lastly I would like to thank all of our staff over the years ❤️ But if you know Kacao you will also know Lorna! 😉 this incredible women has been so loyal and hard working I don’t know where to start to thank her for everything she has done for our world of chocolate making, and also for me personally. There isn’t enough words to extend my gratitude to everyone ❤️

Happy Friday everyone! Finishing the week off in the kitchen with one of our original Kacao flavours…. Cherry Bakewell 🍒 remember all our chocolate is loving handmade by myself and Kelsey, aswel as hand packaged! supporting small businesses has never been more important and we appreciate all your orders still coming in 🥰 the shop is open 10-4 Saturday and Sunday and you can shop with us 24/7 online 👛 have a lovely weekend

🌟 I feel we need to talk about our soft filled bars, they are definitely one of best sellers since we introduced them a few years ago to our luxury bar collection 🍫

The Nutella is piped in between a layer of milk chocolate and finished off with a generous dashing of caramelised hazelnuts for that crisp finish 💯

Then we have the Dulce Leche bar, the spread again is piped in between the gorgeous caramelised white chocolate and sealed for the perfect glossy finish 💯
