Honestly, I hate comments like that, because I’ve heard them directed at me so often: coming from a Slavic culture where, if you don’t have children by the time you’re 30, it’s as if you’ve wasted your life. Children and family are a personal matter for every woman, and neither society nor the government has the right to dictate that to her!
