The countdown is on! Chelsea Dog Day returns on Saturday 3 October, with more than 80 shops, restaurants and hotels rolling out the red carpet for our four-legged regulars 🐶

Here are some of the highlights:

🛍️ Dog market at Duke of York Square, 10am–4pm: treats, accessories and entertainment all day, plus our charity partner

🎨 : turn your favourite dog photo into a masterpiece with help from an experienced artist, plus treats for four-legged guests

🧘 .world: pilates you can do with your dog, followed by a lick-and-paint session. Namastay, good boy

📿 : totem bracelets hand-made with your dog’s name

One week to go and one unmissable lineup ✨
Chelsea Arts Festival returns 16–20 September, unfolding across some of the neighbourhood’s most beautiful spaces for four days of literature, music, theatre, dance, film and comedy.

Highlights include:
🎶 Cadogan Hall — Rambert’s centenary programme, national treasure Celia Imrie CBE and poet-actor Lucas Jones bring Shaun Usher’s Diaries of Note to life, poetry from Allie Esiri’s A Poem for Every Night of the Year, and the return of Blue Plaques Talk Back.
🖼️ Saatchi Gallery — Booker Prize winner Bernardine Evaristo leads an evening presented by the Women’s Prize, joined by Bonnie Garmus, Jacqueline Crooks and Joelle Taylor, with readings by Gugu Mbatha-Raw. Architect John Pawson CBE in conversation, punk turns fifty with A Night of T/Reason, and Jane Ashley’s photography on display throughout.
😂 The Trafalgar — four nights of comedy with Always Be Comedy: Michelle De Swarte, Tom Davis, George Lewis and Sarah Keyworth.

The best September plans start on the King’s Road ✨

Here are some of the highlights this month:

🎭 Chelsea Arts Festival is back for its second edition, 17–20 September. Four days of music, theatre, film and literature across the Saatchi Gallery, Cadogan Hall and the Royal Court with free performances spilling out onto King’s Road, Duke of York Square and Sloane Square.

🖌️ Rounding off the festival weekend, the Chelsea Art Market lands on Duke of York Square on Sunday 20 September, 11am–4pm. This is a special edition of the market. Expect a lively atmosphere, and a full day of art, music, and creative energy.

🛍️ Newly landed: Ulla Johnson has opened its first European flagship just off Sloane Square. The New York label’s first store outside the US, with ready-to-wear, accessories and a rotating curation of art to shop.

🍷 La Grande Fête at The Surprise, 7–12 September — a week of all things French. Think escargots, bouillabaisse and crème brûlée, with live music and a mime artist through the week. No ticket needed, just book a table.

🍜 Lunch, sorted: The Ivy Asia’s Lotus Lunch is a leisurely midday escape from £21.95, Sunday to Friday. Think ebi prawn tempura and barbecue duck salad in those unmistakably aesthetic surroundings.

☀️ Soak up the last of the season at Summer in Sloane Square — our al fresco terrace with the Royal Court Theatre, small plates, cocktails under the trees and live music every Friday, 5–7pm. Catch it before it’s gone.

🖼️ Catch the final days of The Sun and The Moon at the Saatchi Gallery (until 8 Sept), alongside the free Royal Photographic Society exhibition and Materiality — then British Art Fair rolls in from 24 September.
