Happy Birthday to all our lovely Peridots!! Peridot are the freshest of the birthstones, zingy and bright, they’re joyful. From a huge cocktail ring (giving apple schnapps 🍏) to a lovely eternity ring that will lift a ring stack, or be great on its own, there is a peridot for everyone. I do particularly like the huge one, it’s got a waxiness to it that just makes it so rich, that’s such a great usual gemstone 💚

These are some of my favourited videos of the four most precious gemstones that are commonly available.
💎 Diamonds - Labs have changed the game, wildest dreams are within reach, what would have been six / seven figures is now possible with four figure price tags. While Labs have changed the diamond market, Colourful gemstones have quietly rocketed in price as those people who want natural are going for colour more and more..
💚 Emeralds - the GIA emerald second video in is about as close to perfection I’ve ever seen in an emerald, it’s GORGEOUS.
💙 Sapphires - There loose Sapphire was one we set for a client, that was extraordinary.
❤️ Ruby. We still have this Ruby, it’s so good. And we haven’t put the price up, it’s getting cheaper as everything else from eggs to electric gets more expensive…
There are a few others, Alexandrite, Paraiba, Demantoid Garnet, then real rarities, but emeralds, sapphires, and rubies are the most sought after and expensive gems, they’re the hardest too. Kyanite rivals sapphire for beauty, but it falls down on hardness, so you have to be more careful with it.
❤️ good garnet rivals ruby, but there is just the hint of rust red with it that you don’t get with Ruby. Garnets are usually cleaner, I don’t know, rubies call to soul in a way garnets don’t.
💙🩷💛 and sapphires, you don’t have to go blue with a sapphire… you have the whole rainbow 🙌

💎 Fresh from the workshop 💎✨

This Georgian style ring is set with an absolutely stunning 4.00 carat elongated cushion-cut Moissanite. The moissy is dazzling, and works so well nestled in the Sterling Silver button back, this is exactly how Georgians set diamonds, foil backed, giving this beautiful ring a timeless, historic vibe.

I love too that this ring is chunky, it’s lovely and solid, and exquisite quality. The Moissanite is harder than Sapphires, and more sparkly than Diamonds, so, if you want this as an engagement ring, it will stand the test of time.

This ring is classically beautiful, and it really would make a really wonderful slightly alternative engagement ring, or excellent right-hand ring.
