It's been a few months since I had time to work on the Warprints.net Sd.Kfz.251 Ausf D.

Mostofthe chassis is mow completed save for the towing hitch, then I can paint the chassis.

I have also started on the upper body just so that I can ser the overall shape.

I really love this kit, it goes together with no full requiring minimal cleanup and no additional parts, save for the camouflage pattern.

This is as far as I have got page 27 on the Warprints.net Sd.Kfz.251 build.

So far everything has gone together without any problems.

The chassis is light but very strong.

My Warprints.net Sd.Kfz.251 Ausf D arrived today.

I have only had a quick look and Im very impressed with the build

I will post more when I get chance, with this kit there will be very little need for anything extra adding, weld lines and paint will be the only upgrades planned.

This is the full RC option, comes with sound, smoke and a pre programmed radio.

I recently recived these 1/6 Panther final drives for my build.

Printed in alloy by my good freind Liam Mahoney in Australia.

I can't tell you how much I love these parts, the detail is outstanding, absolutely perfect and will add to the overall detail of the tank.

The Armortek Panther Ausf A project begins. Over the coming months the build will continue.

Work on the lower hull, I have started on the front glasses plate adding the Kugleblende MG ball as opposed to the letter box flap in the kit.

I have also started on the drivers visor modifying the opening to look more like the original tank.

Myself at Werkstatt - 5 and Dave from Armorpax have collaborated to bring the most accurate 20 tone jack in both long and short versions (lang und kurz) to suit Panther A and G, Jagdpanther, Tiger I, Sturmtiger, Tiger II (Königstiger) Jagdtiger, Ferdinand/Elefant
Brass jacks will be strictly limited production.

Resin and metal Jack price £55 plus postage

Brackets for Tiger I and Königstiger are also available, Panther brackets are with my caster.
