Long Eaton Art Room The meeting place for creative minds. We have a great schedule of activities and workshops right now.

Long Eaton Art Room is a voluntary organization that believes anyone can benefit from the therapeutic qualities of art & craft making. We were established in April 2006 by a group of enthusiastic creative people for the general public to use as a meeting place where they can relax, have fun making things and learn at their own pace. As well as participating in art for pleasure we are proud to say

that we have helped some of our customers to progress onto either further education or become successful self employed artists. We have also built strong ties with a number of community groups, local schools and the local authority, running creative workshops at either the Art Room or at specific community events. Monday Evenings - Ceramics
Tuesday Evenings - Lino cutting courses and paper cutting / miniature courses
Wednesday mornings - Watercolours for beginners
Wednesday Evenings - Woolly wednesday knitting and crochet
Thursday evenings - Life drawing
Friday evenings - Fizz fridays coming soon
Weekends - a range of workshops, watercolours, stained glass, polymer clay group, lino print, paper cutting, miniatures and more coming. See our website for more information and how to book:

A smashing Craft & Fizz Friday last night! We created these fab mosaic tiles with all sorts of different glass nuggets, mosaics and small tiles. They were all so different! 😁

The first floor of our beautiful signal box studio is available to rent. It's our largest studio and costs £355/mth. Approximately 7mx3m.
North facing windows. First Floor space. Stand alone building within our complex. With 24 hour access. Discount on kiln firing and room hire.

From punch needle and children's painting workshops to our regular creative classes and the ever popular Craft & Fizz Friday and Coffee & Craft sessions - with gentle guided instruction and friendly company ☺️
