Here we are offering a stunning Bechstein Model 9 in a mahogany case with delicate band inlaid detailing, that our polisher has completely repolished using traditional french polish. The model 9 is the more subtle brother to the slightly larger model 8 in the Bechstein range.

With a full 85 note 7 octave ivory keyboard professionally polished. Overstrung and under/damper action that has been fully refurbished including hammer refacing ,retaping, new hammer rest felt replacement,etc. The serial number for the collector is 69556.

The model 9 is probably our best selling of the Bechstein range; this late edition model 9 is Bechstein at their height, a true Bechstein.

Bechstein, Model 8 Rosewood Repolished Piano £4,500

Lovingly Restored

Here we are offering the world famous Bechstein Model 8 in a rosewood case we have completely repolished, this piano is in immaculate condition. We take pride in being one of the few restorers that put as much love and care into the cabinet as the pianos internal workings; these instruments deserve sympathetic restoration that is in keeping with Carl’s original ethos.

With a full 88 note 7 ¼ octave original ivory keyboard we have had professionally polished. Over strung and under/damper action that has been refurbished including retaping, hammers refaced, new hammer rail felt, etc. The serial number for the production date is 87821. We have probably the largest selection of model 8 Bechsteins in the country, come and see why they are regarded as the best Bechstein range.

Ed Seiler, Gold Medal, Walnut Piano

One of the Great

Here we are offering a rare Ed Seiler piano, in a stunning walnut cabinet with burr walnut figured paneling, sympathetically repolished in a natural beeswax by our polisher. Complete with double brass sconces and original brass handles that really make this piano stand out.

Ed Seiler was one of the great German manufacturers, winning every gold medal available in their day, not only announcing this on the incredibly detailed casting of the frame but inlaying them next to their prestigious name above the keys, leaving the owner in no doubt of the impressive credentials of Ed Seiler pianos.

With a full 85 note 7 octave ivory keyboard that we have had professionally repolished, overstrung with under/damper action that has new dampers, been retaped, new hammer rail felt and pedal assembly felt, etc. This is a fabulous instrument with real depth of tone and warmth.
