Bikeseven thankfully is not directly adversely affected by the situation at the Accell Group. It must be said Bikeseven have historically supported the brands within the group as the original importers of the brands Haibike and Winora, as well as dealers of Koga, Van Nicholas, Raleigh and XLC.
However during the past 5 years we have switched to PonGroup brands such as Gazelle, Kalkhoff, and BBB.
Therefor the statement published today, 5th August, is not critical for Bikeseven.
It reads:: "Accell Group Holding B.V. and its Dutch subsidiaries, a European bicycle and bicycle parts manufacturer with global operations, today announces that, following an exhaustive review of all possible alternatives, suspension of payments was granted to the Dutch entities". Bikeseven hope this situation will not adversely affect the Accell UK team as we have been developing a service relationship with them.
In the meantime please be assured Bikeseven seek to give you the best possible service whatever the outcome of this crisis. Some of our key brands are independent, global and UK in origin and we hope that they will be protected from the fall out of this scenario.
